Tried and True Tip #1

Remember a while back I put the call out for some of your tried and true photo tips? I know, it's been a while but I did get some emails from some of you and they are great. It's helpful to get insights and ideas from you and if you keep sending your tips, I will keep posting them. Hint, hint.

So, here we are for our very first Tried and True Tip:

Stacy of The Land of KA who we all know as incredibly talented and very encouraging (thanks Stacy-you rock) sent me the link to this great post about shooting in full sun. The pros, the cons and how to work with the light to get the desired effects. I found her explanation very easy to understand and she offers fantastic photo examples of the things she's talking about. In fact, there are so many great tips in her post, I couldn't really choose my favorite tip to highlight.  Be sure to head over and get some great lighting insights.

Tried and True (tips from YOU)

I have been noticing lately how very talented you all are. I've known it all along, of course, but it seems that many of you are really growing (photographically speaking) as there are so many great Best Shot posts and super theme interpretations each week. Because I know I don't have all the answers and many of you have SO much creativity to share, I would like to start a little something new over here at Picture This and it involves YOU and your unique perspectives.

Does anyone out there want to share some tips and/or tricks that you have used in your photography that seem to work well for you? I would be honored to feature them here. I'll call it "Tried and True - tips from you" and it will consist of posts that are inspired by your photo success stories.
